x Home Sweet Home x

Can't believe it's been nearly 2 weeks since we moved in to our new little home! It's gone so fast, but feels like we've been living here for weeks already, if not longer; I love it here so much, it's just perfect for us! ='] It's a wee bit soppy, but the first night that I spent unpacking here, (probably the second night here), I felt a little bit weepy that I was making a home for myself, at long last! So happy hehe ^_^

Got loads of stuff sorted out here already, carpets are down, white goods are installed and in full working order, t'internet set up (obviously....),  TV is licenced and most importantly, the Christmas tree is up =D teehee ^_^ still got loads to sort out and buy for the place though! But that will take years to achieve to get it just the way I want, but I should be sticking around here for a few yet :) hehe

Now, not that I'm complaining at all! But now that I am standing on my own two, I'm really struggling to keep on top of everything, and getting a bit stressy, but Sprog has been teething quite badly in the nights, so she wakes up at least twice every night, and gets up so early, and is now at the age where she is in to EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my golly gosh, and even when I tell her off, whether that be a low tone, a normal tone, or raising my voice, nothing phases her in the slightest! God help me when she starts her terrible twos! :( I hope she doesn't start early, either, I will cry. Lol. I need a glass of wine.... Or two...... Just give me the bottle! Haha xD

Anyways, coming back to the Christmas tree! It. Is. B-E-A-U-Tiful! It's so bushy, and it's 6ft, and at £15, from Tesco of all places, it was an absolute steal! :D hehe I have to say though, for my usual taste in festive tree decoration, it looks very modest, chic and stylish, as all I have on it is 3 2m strands of tinsel, about 20-some odd gold and red baubles, and a silver star atop, it looks maaaarvelous ^_^ hehe however, as I can't afford to buy or run fairy lights this year, I've not bothered buying any, although the decs (except the tree) were a gift from my aunt :D hehe I also don't have any ceiling decs or decs around the house, but I do have two beautiful handmade personalised stockings for Sprog and me, made by a mummy friend from playgroup, she did a wonderful job! :D she's very handy with a sewing machine or needle and thread :) As for advent calendars, Sprog and I also have those too! Sprog has a Peppa Pig one, which she loves..... teehee ^_^ I have a Cadburys Wish Upon A Star one, the chocolates are so chunky compared to other advent calendars! Lush ^_^

See?!!? Isn't it beautiful!!!!11111!!!eleven!!!11!!11!!1!1!1!!!!! Hehehehe

Anywho....... O_O ermm.... Moving on hehe

Can't wait to start welcoming visitors! Already had family round, and my best mummy friend :) Can't wait to get settled in properly as well though, even though it does feel like home already, my sofas aren't arriving until next Monday, so stuck sitting on two dining chairs and a garden reclining chair..... Lol =] still, Rome wasn't built in a day, I guess :) hehe

Right, readers, I must bade you goodnight, as I am knackered, it's late, and I know Sprog will be up for breakfast at sparrows fart (after needing at least 2 or 3 cuddles, and probably a bottle too!) x_X nnggghhhhhh lol love her heart, poor little poppet!

Nighty night!

xXx
